After being electrocuted in a work-related accident in 1994 David Devane, of Becket, has lived with limitations that range from long-term and short-term memory loss to epileptic seizures. After an early retirement from Boston Edison due to his health challenges, he was able to live happily with the support of his wife Nancy.
“She did it all. She paid the bills, did the housework and would help me finish my thoughts in conversations,” David explained. “Nancy was the glue that kept it all together.”
Sadly, after a long bout with cancer, Nancy passed away in November 2012. David was not only without a beloved spouse, but without the support that would allow him to adequately function in his own home.
However, David (now 54) found his solution in the top-rated compassionate services of Porchlight Home Care.
